The walls of my home library are bursting with literary genius; I’m a serial reader of mystery novels. The current owner of PoppysQuest a vintage shop at Etsy.com. Board of Directors of the “Welcome Club, Gateway to Friendship.” Board of Directors of  “The Missouri Writers’ Guild” 2020-2022.  Currently, I am writing genres of Historical Fiction, Contemporary Fantasy, Horror and Mystery/Suspense.  

My newest Historical fiction is " The Fate of Lady Jane " which is a re-creation of the tragedy of Ozark Flight # 809 in 1973.   A companion book, is now available, A Documentary: Ozark Flight # 809 which contains names and information of the 38 souls who perished.  There are  interviews with a survivor and families of the deceased, sharing never before revealed information.  Currently, I am leading a team to build a Memorial in honor of the 38 victims, here in St. Louis.  I've been interviewed by Channel 5, KSDK in St. Louis for my role in authoring the Documentary. This interview will be aired on their television Special "5 at 75".  The highlight of the Special will occur on the Anniversary date of July 23, 2023.  Another unique novel, part bildungsroman, part horror with a slant of humor is "Ghost of Hillbilly Heaven" which is on Amazon.  I received an Honorary Mention for this book in the MO Writers' Contest for 2021. For ages new adult and above.  At this point in my writing career, I would be considered a multi-genre author.  Writing brings me joy and I write everyday. 

As a writer, I am inspired by feedback from my readers.  I want to hear about how my story affected or influenced you.   Did you feel lifted? Did you think about it the next day?  Were you pleased or disappointed?  Were my characters likeable?  Did I get inside your head?     

As a Writer, I have learned to follow advice from seasoned authors. Experience brings success and I discovered I needed to be a better listener.  Fame is not necessary, but impact upon your audience is.  The MO Writers' Guild has taught me a lot, and I've learned to not give up along your journey!
